I'd like to thank you for considering me to be a part of your program. I am confident that the Division 1 Collegiate experience has prepared me to excel as a professional basketball player. As I did as a two year captain in college, I will bring leadership in the form of communication and action. I believe my knowledge of the game and basketball IQ is what sets me apart from others. My strengths include my feel for the game, scoring from multiple areas on the floor, the ability to set others up for scoring opportunities, as well as crafty/intelligent defensive play. My college numbers weren't great as I had to sacrifice part of my game for the team and I played in a system that didn't best showcase my skill set. But I'm sure that my film will show you my talent. I received Mark Batzel Award (given to the player that displays leadership, determination, mental toughness and heart, while having the ability to instill those qualities in his teammates. My most recent camp was the International Pro Am Exposure Camp in Raleigh, NC on Nov 17, 2012. I was evaluated as follows: "Kendrix Brown - a very athletic combo guard that has the unique ability to run the 1 guard position and the 2...demonstrated a Derrick Rose like quality to get to the rim...showed a unique versatility on the defensive end having the ability to shut down quick point guards and much bigger wings...is rated the overall number 2."
