A small college star, Billy Ross Wilson came to the 2009 Court Side Pro Camp in Las Vegas and showed off major NBA-level athleticism. He had one quarter in one game, where he had at least three major highlight plays. Very explosive player, who can dunk it in various fashions. Not afraid of contact. A long armed athlete with exceptional leaping ability (42-inch vertical), Billy Wilson is known for playing over the rim. He runs well, gets out in transition and dunks with the best of them. He's a solid rebounder, can play back to the basket and he's got face-up shooting ability to 15-feet. He's long (7'1 wingspan), active and has quick leaping ability. He started off at a NCAA Div. I school (North Carolina Central) before transferring to a junior college (Panola) in Texas. He was a two-year starter at SUNO and has continued to develop his game (he still has significant upside). He will be a fan favorite wherever he plays in Europe because of his ability to play over the rim.
